Bosch AEROTWIN series is the flagship series of Bosch Europe. This series of wipers adopts modern frameless design and is provided to factories of well-known automobile manufacturers. Wiper rubber is made of multi-component rubber, which is superior to natural rubber in parameters. The spring element is made of special evodium alloy and provides initial clamping force during the whole operation of the wiper. Bosch AEROTWIN brush is suitable for all seasons. The country of manufacture of these brushes is Belgium.

The asymmetric spoiler mounted on the brush provides good high-speed brush pressure. However, compared with the symmetrical spoiler, the wiper with asymmetric spoiler has poor universality.

These wipers are not designed for right-hand drive, nor for cars with sliding (tilting) wiper system!

The mounting on the hook wiper arms on my VW Multivan T5.2 year 2010 was completely possible without any problems. The wiping result on the driver’s side is excellent, which does not squeak or scratch on the passenger’s side. Apart from the few centimetres that the Aerotwin on the right side of the car is shorter than the original windscreen wiper, the retrofit wiper is not always and everywhere on the windscreen. As a result, the wiping result is not optimal for a certain (low) amount of rain. Since this is only noticeable on a closer look, I see no problem in this. The price-performance ratio is still right.

Edit: Meanwhile it also fits on the passenger side, the wiper seems to have “walked in”.

Edit 2: November 2016, so far no damage to the wiper blades, wiping result impeccable

Edit 3: March 2017, the wipers have survived the winter without complaint, wiping result still flawless

Edit 4: January 2018, in one or two places the wiping result starts to subside in difficult conditions (salt mist), I’ll After the winter, swap the wipers. 2 years with lots of snow and ice (foothills of the Alps), not many wipers have done so far. That’s why they are bought again.

Edit 5: April 2018, after two years the parts are through, therefore newly purchased again – the quality is unchanged. You can’t do anything wrong with these wipers.

I also wanted to give my T5 Transporter (EZ 03/2005) new windscreen wipers and change from standard to Aerotwin. Since there are different wiper blades for the T5, I can confirm that these Bosch AR801S are suitable for those who are planning the same.

The wiping performance is really great – even the assembly is very easy. Full score.

Was only at the local hardware store to get me a suitable windscreen wiper.

First, the selection is very lean and secondly, the prices are utopian.

I chose the actually more expensive aero twin system because the price was just so low.

I have to say that another house number is better than the conventional Bosch wipers.

The workmanship is impressive which makes a very high-quality impression.

The clipping technique is great that the wiper fits snugly and well.

Assembly is a breeze to dismantle the old wiper and put the new Aerotwin in cliffs for that, open the clip on the wiper, thread through the metal chop on the car and snap the clip on the wiper again and the whole thing is done.

The wiper rubber on the aerotwin feels thicker and higher quality than other manufacturers. I’m curious how long they last with car wash and sun exposure.

They are a marvel of quality. The ones I took from the car were exactly the same, and I have had them for 10 years which the car has always been out in the open since unfortunately I do not have a garage and until last winter they have worked perfect, now in the first rains I realized that one of them did not remove the water on a piece of its route. With everything that has lasted me and with such quality I had no hesitation in looking for exactly the same ones.

When I bought them, I trusted a forero who had put them in his Mercedes w203. He said they were the ones that corresponded to this model and not the ones indicated by Bosch. Indeed, I was right: these are the right ones. The ones indicated by Bosch are the same for each side and the originals are different, the largest being on the driver’s side. I don’t really know why this confusion is. It’s a little freaky when you buy them, but no.

If you have a w203, it’s these.

The design is very attractive, the quality of materials looks and feels.

Super easy to put on and clean beautifully without making noise.
