Size: Rear Driver Side Verified Purchase

I replaced my window regulator this weekend and so far so good. Quality seems pretty decent. Plastic part that holds the window is a pretty sturdy, hard plastic. I own a 2006 BMW 325xi, and this fit perfectly. I had no issues attaching the motor to this regulator. I would recommend using a torque wrench when tightening the screws to attach the motor — I didn’t have enough power/strength with a regular driver to screw in the screws until they were flush.

This Window lifter is better than the original BMW ones.BMW is notorious for having bad window regulators, I have replaced 4 in 6 years. Will I go to the dealership and purchase one regulator for close to $200? of course not. I keep buying these cheap ones that work exactly the same and will eventually go bad because the whole design is horrible and no after market company will build a window regulator for BMW that will last for ever just like the rest of the cars. This review and along with the rest of the reviews are plain useless. Buy the cheapest regulator and expect to replace it in few years. I have gotten so good at it that it only takes me about 30 minutes to replace one.Because this is A probably 5th replacement regulator for my wife’s 3 series E46. Arrived even before expected date, and installation was straightforward.This particular product seems to be of better quality and design than previous one. Pulleys are partially enclosed so cable is less likely to drop off – common failure with replacement regulators. I did not have any issues with the motor brackets, as some other users reported. It was tight fit indeed, but no bracket bending was needed.

Hopefully this one will last longer than previous guys.
