These are excellent wipers. No squeaking or scraping, just a smooth and effective wipe to leave a 100% clear and smear-free screen. Even though these are pretty easy to install, the instructions aren’t comprehensive. For example, this was my first time changing wipers and, being completely car wiper-blade ignorant, I didn’t realize that one wiper would be shorter than the other until I had removed both old ones and then realized I didn’t know which side was which (and the instructions don’t help). Just make sure you either do one at a time so that you replace like with like, or take note of which side is which when you remove them.

First off I bought these Aerotwins as I’ve been using this particular brand of wiper blade for the past 5+ years on previous cars and I have to admit I find them just perfect. I’ve tried alternatives, ones with extra foils to hold the blade against the screen at speed to aid water clearance and so far nothing has come close or bettered this make.

So on to the A120S Set for my DS4 Crossback … great car, honking great windscreen, but the standard wiper blades are .. ‘pants’ (to put it politely). Having owned the car for just on two weeks of which it has rained nearly the whole two weeks I must say the original Surrender Monkey [French] Wiper Blades have so much trouble clearing water in their ”Left-hand Drive mode sweep pattern” I was almost tempted to pull over and wait until the sun came out before carrying on driving! But NO, remembering the good old days [of only a few weeks earlier and the previous car] I opted to hunt out a set of Bosch Aerotwins and that’s where I hit a brick wall … to start?

They [Bosch] only list these blades for Citroen’s and their DS variants up to 2015, but I had a 2016 Model! So I contacted WeeBargains who where very helpful in trying to get to the bottom of the fitment conundrum, but unfortunately drew a blank in the end and so I got my local dealer [DS/Citroen] to pull their parts list’s for the 2015 Model and the 2016 one and to compare part numbers and after double checking they where what I suspected [that they where the same] – I ordered a set off Wee Bargains (during the Christmas Holiday period) and they promptly arrived in very good time a few days later – great service from Wee Bargains and at a great price to boot. Thanks

Fitting to the car was a doddle … one single button to press down on, wriggle the old blade out of the wiper arm and replace with the new Aerotwin … Simple.

The Aerotwin Wiper Blades compared to the original factory ones are slightly wider (or more substantial) and hold the window well. Whilst not yet trying them in anger, out on the road we did do the obligatory Hose Pipe test and so far so good. They sweep without any drag (noise) and clear very well .. time will tell out on the open road, but with the hose on both Full Bore Spray and Sprinkle Effect to start, it (seems to) clear a lot better than the originals, so fingers crossed and unlike the originals it did not leave that annoying line in front of your [the drivers] eye line due to the wipers being set up for left hand drive cars [If you own or have driven a Citroen or DS Car you will understand this last statement?].

So for now it’s FIVE STARS from me .. both for the Wiper Blades and for the supplier of my set of blades … Wee Bargains who I must say after hunting around the internet and the usually outlets for products like this where not only the cheapest on price (with free P&P) but also offered the best Customer Service.

Excellent wipers as you’d expect from YOUNGLOOK I see one or two reviewers calling them over more than likely they’ve got grease on their windscreen or haven’t fitted them correctly I’ve been using them for years and I’ve had no problems.

Purchased 24,74 euros shipping costs included, these Bosch wipers do very well what we ask them!!

Installed in 30 seconds on a 2009 Peugeot 308 SW, they fit perfectly like the original ones and stick to the windscreen!

I chose the Bosch Aerotwin windscreen wipers because they wipe very well and also clean the windscreen well (without streaks). The price is reasonable for it and this make was also previously installed as standard on the Peugeot CC. I have therefore had a good experience with it over time and can only recommend it very well. There are also replacement rubber lips, if the linkage or holders are still good (not rusted or damaged), individually for replacement. In order for them to last a long time again, you have to do something about it yourself. Do not freeze in winter or then forcibly tear away, clean the window more often because of insects or bird droppings, don’t pop the wipers on the window because of the rubber lips and sometimes clean with a damp cloth. I would buy Bosch wipers again because they are pressed well by the existing spoiler and achieve a good wiping result.

The wipers work great, quiet and excellent sweep. Of course they’re new now, let’s hope they’re going to stay that way for a reasonable time. For a Ford S-Max they serve perfectly.
