Good windscreen wiper blades that can be changed in seconds and cost significantly less than the original ones at VW.

I could hardly tell a difference in longevity, nor could I tell the difference in wiping performance and noise.

VW changed the wiper arms during production so that there are two different widths for the wiper blades. You should definitely keep that in mind when ordering. I had also ordered the too wide leaves first.

Overall, I have been using Bosch cars (and preferably the Aero’s) on all cars (and preferably the Aero’s) for years (alternating with the few original wiper blades) and am completely satisfied.

I have a VW Passat and after trying two different after market brands, I got lucky when I found these. VW has come out with a wiper connection that isn’t the same as what they have used for years. The after market guys haven’t fully figured out the connector yet and are not able to secure the wipers to the arms in a reasonable manner. As much as I don’t like the way VW has changed the connection, BOSCH is the original supplier with the factory connector so it WORKS, is easy to install and is very secure. I would be mad if they jacked the price up but these are high quality pieces at a reasonable competitive price. You can’t beat them.

Update 24.10.2016: I bought these wipers again this year. My verdict remains the same: delivered super fast, fit perfectly and cost half of the original equipment. On top of that, the wiping performance is much better.

I can’t do comparative tests with the original VW spare parts, as the weather is different every year. The wiping result on freshly cleaned windscreen is in any case impeccable and even after three months of use into the rainy autumn, I can see no wear and tear.

However, the most important point is: the price is unbeatable. Better to try new Bosch wipers twice a year than with expensive original parts to set a long-term record.፦)
